What is the procedure for Phokwane Municipality Tenders?

Phokwane Municipality invites Service Providers to be listed onto its Suppliers Database.

Service Providers are requested to submit:  

•  Proof Company/CC registration.
•  Banking details (together with a cancelled cheque).
•  A brief resume of the business and a Company Profile.
•  Representability status.
•  Services offered and a general pricing structure.
•  Up-to-date income Tax Clearance Certificate.
•  Proof of Vat registration.
•  Proof of UIF and COIDA registration (For personnel supply services)
•  Three (3) trade references.

Application will be assessed according to set criteria, including quality of services, capacity, cost and financial viability. Preference will be given to SMME's, Historically Disadvantaged Individuals Suppliers and Black Empowerment Enterprises.
 
Application forms are obtainable from the Procurement Office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of R100-00 per document. Cheques are to be made payable to Phokwane Municipality .
 
Applications must reach the Acting Municipal Manager on or before 27 February 2006 or should be posted to: Phokwane Municipality , Private Bag X 3. HARTSWATER, 8570 or be hand delivered at 24 Hertzog Street , Hartswater.

Where do I send my completed Tender Documents to?

Tender submissions must be in the original (no fax copies), and include all information requested in the tender document

No tenders will be submitted later than 12.00 on the closing date shown and will be opened in public in the vestibule (Main Entrance) ground floor at 12.15 on that date.

Is there a fee for tenders?

Copies of tenders are available at a non-refundable deposit of R*** or an amount as specified on the tender document.
